The plate-type ceramic membrane is a precise filtering material made from inorganic materials such as alumina, zirconia, and titanium oxide through high-temperature sintering. The support layer, transition layer, and separation layer all have a porous structure and are distributed in a gradient and asymmetric manner. The surface of the plate-type ceramic membrane is densely covered with micropores. Depending on the membrane pore size within a certain range, the diameters of the permeated substance molecules are different, resulting in different permeability. With the pressure difference between the two sides of the membrane as the driving force, the membrane serves as a filtering medium. Under a certain pressure, when the liquid passes over the membrane surface, only water, inorganic salts, and small molecules can pass through the membrane, while suspended solids, colloids, and microorganisms, which are large molecules, are prevented from passing through. The plate-type ceramic membrane can be used for separation, clarification, purification, concentration, sterilization, desalination, etc. in the process, and has been successfully applied in numerous fields such as food, beverages, plant (drug) product deep processing, biomedicine, fermentation, and fine chemicals.
